Alaska Family Sonograms

COVID-19 Care Statement

We are here for you and thankful we can provide a healthy, safe environment for your medical care.  To maintain minimum exposure, patients may only be accompanied by one other adult. Please refrain from bringing children to your appointment.  We apologize for this inconvenience, but feel it is extremely important to take every precaution to significantly reduce the impact of this virus within our community.

Alaska Family Sonograms is monitoring the COVID-19 Federal and State guidelines daily.  We have removed unnecessary touchpoints from our office to minimize surface contact.  Precautions are taken throughout each day to continuously wipe down ALL touchpoints with a disinfectant to kill the virus in the reception area, exam rooms and restrooms.  Employees are following and complying with the recommended CDC personal hygiene practices.  We will limit your time in the waiting room by getting you directly to your examination room once your paperwork is completed.

We are contacting patients prior to their exam and inquiring about recent travel.  If you have traveled by air, you will be rescheduled to meet the 14-day self-quarantine guidelines.  In addition, you will be asked if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms:  cough, difficulty breathing, fever or contact with a person diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus.  If you answered yes to these questions, your appointment will be rescheduled and you will be directed to call your Primary Care Physician.
